Guest Card: 6 of Wands

Today's Guest on the Talking Tarot Talkshow is the gentleman from the 6 of Wands. Welcome to the show, Mr. Man-On-Horse!

Man-On-Horse: Why, thank you! I'm so glad to be here!

Amanda: So, how are you doing today?

Man-On-Horse: Oh, I just could not be better. It feels like everything in my life is going just the way it should. I have worked hard to get to this place, and now I have arrived. I mean, I can't believe I've made it to the Talking Tarot Talkshow! Look, Mom, it's me! Isn't this insane?

Amanda: Ha, ha. Well, as our first guest on the show, you should be feeling mighty special.

Man-On-Horse: Oh, I do. Truly. I can see my future ahead, and it is oh-so-bright. I am proud, confident, and energized. My fans--oh, my fans!--they just adore me! Am I not the luckiest person alive right now?! (nodding energetically toward the audience) I am! Don't you doubt it!

Amanda: Oh, Man-On-Horse, your enthusiasm and self-confidence is electrifying. Tell me, what's the best part of your success? Of being the signature character in the 6 of Wands card?

Man-On-Horse: Well, first off, the clothes. I mean, c'mon...don't I look amazing in my designer poncho and deerskin boots? My stylist chose this outfit for a publicity event out in Colorado, and I have to say, I think this look suits me to a T. Not only do I feel amazing, but I look amazing. As I like to tell myself, I am beautiful, inside and out.

Amanda: Well, watch out there Mr. Man-On-Horse, you're sounding a little full of yourself...

Man-On-Horse: Indeed, Amanda. This is something I have to keep in check, or else, the card may go reversed, and then things aren't so rosy...

Amanda: Oooh! Do tell! What happens when you are reversed?

Man-On-Horse: Well, there are a number of reasons why I may be reversed. The first and most obvious reason is that I've lost the modesty required to stay upright. My fans see me as a bit conceited, and all the loving adoration I've enjoyed starts to melt away.

Amanda: Hmm...what else might cause a reversal?

Man-On-Horse: Another reason would be that I've lost confidence in myself or the path ahead. My ability to sit tall on the horse has failed me, and I can barely stay on.  It's like I've pulled my poncho over my head in shame or fear. Don't look at me! Leave me be!

Amanda: Oh, how dreadful!

Man-On-Horse: You said it! Fortunately, the solution to that sad mess is simply to put me upright and find the inner strength to keep me on my horse. If I have confidence in who I am and where I'm headed, I'll be just fine.

Amanda: Well, Mr. Man-On-Horse, I think that positive message is a good place to stop. Thank you for joining us today on the Talking Tarot Talkshow!  Please come back again someday!

Man-On-Horse: Oh, you know I will! The camera loves me!

Amanda: May it always. Cheers!
