Friends, we are so lucky to have with us today the Page of Cups!
Amanda: Thank you so much for being here, dear Page! You look fabulous this morning!
Page: Why, thank you! I really hope this doesn't sound conceited, but I take a lot of pride in how I look. I like my outer appearance to be a reflection of who I am inside.
Amanda: Oh, that is beautiful. I think you have definitely succeeded.
So, tell us, what have you been up to lately?
Page: Well, I've been doing what I normally do: volunteering in the community, doing arts and crafts classes with the local kids, and taking some painting classes--I'm new at it but it sure is fun!
Amanda: You sound really busy! How do you squeeze it all in?
Page: Well, it's not that hard. I mean, there is always room in one's day for a good deed. Time doesn't matter. What matters is your intention!
Amanda: Indeed, I think we could all learn from that. Although, we must be careful not to take on too much, or...
Page: Ah, yes...I lose my cool and go reversed. I heard you ask about this, so I'm prepared to talk about it...
Amanda: Oh, well, I do not mean to pry...
Page: Hah...it's ok. It's just that going reversed is sort of a difficult subject. I'm sure you could understand. You wouldn't like talking about your worst days, would you?
Amanda: Of course, but I do think the audience would like to know...
Page: Yes, yes, ok. So, when I go reversed, I get a little short with people, maybe cry a little. It could be that my desire to help people has overwhelmed me, and I just can't get up the energy to help others. Or, say I discover that I really do not like painting because origami is my true calling, and my initial enthusiasm gives way to those pesky doubts, fears, and regrets. Or, it's just one of those days when I cannot be happy and friendly and social all the time. Sometimes it can just be a little much, ya know??! (sigh)
Amanda (patting the Page on the knee): Oh, I understand that this is difficult...I do not want to dwell on this too long.
Let's move on, shall we?
Tell us, what is coming up for you?
Page: Well! I'm really excited! I start a new job next week greeting people at that hot dance club downtown...I get to wear all the latest and hottest fashions every night, and I get to socialize too! My Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr posts will be on fire!
Amanda: How cool! And fun too! Does it pay well?
Page: Pay? Heck, I don't know! It's just such a cool job, who cares?!
Amanda: Haha, indeed. Well, Page, I am truly excited for you! Thank you again for taking the time out to chat with us! And good luck!
Page: No worries! Anytime!
